Country Health Clinic: Pioneering Holistic Wellness
Stephanie Christensen, RN, is the newest team member at Country Health Clinic, a cornerstone of holistic healthcare founded nearly 50 years ago by Dr. Harold Klassen in a small rural Idaho community. This clinic has become renowned for its integrative approach to healthcare, providing exceptional services at affordable prices. Their dedicated team of professionals is committed to delivering personalized care to every patient who walks through their doors, making Country Health Clinic a leader in holistic health and wellness.
Country Health Clinic distinguishes itself through its holistic and integrative methods, treating the whole body at the cellular level to emphasize total health. They offer a comprehensive natural supplement line with over 100 doctor-created formulas, underscoring their commitment to compassionate patient care. Patients worldwide visit for the clinic’s exceptional attentiveness, teamwork, and positive environment. Holistic health, a comprehensive approach to wellness, views individuals as beings of interconnected mind, body, and spirit, not just a collection of symptoms. By addressing root causes and promoting preventive care, lifestyle adjustments, and natural therapies, holistic health enhances the body’s innate healing abilities, fostering long-term wellness and a higher quality of life. This approach encourages patients to actively engage in their well-being, promoting balanced and meaningful health outcomes.
When Stephanie joined the clinic earlier this year, she seamlessly fit into the clinic’s culture and mission. Her journey into nursing began at a young age when her father survived a severe heart attack. Watching the healthcare team save her father’s life sparked a passion in Stephanie that has driven her career for the past fourteen years. She has garnered diverse experience across multiple specialties, including the operating room, cardiac unit, ICU, post-partum/mom-baby and nursery unit, pain and spine specialty, ER, pre-surgical and post-anesthesia care, and procedural sedation.
Stephanie’s broad experience has shaped her into a versatile nurse who is now excited to bring her skills to the functional medicine-integrative wellness specialty at Country Health Clinic. Functional medicine at the clinic focuses on treating the root causes of health issues rather than just managing symptoms. This approach aligns perfectly with Stephanie’s dedication to helping patients find comprehensive solutions that improve their quality of life.
Growing up on a cattle ranch in southeast Idaho, Stephanie learned the value of hard work and resilience. She is married to her high school sweetheart, a cowboy and financial analyst for the largest agriculture bank in the world, and together they have four beautiful daughters. The family enjoys participating in various sporting events and spending time on their family farm with their horses.
Currently, Stephanie is advancing her nursing career as a Doctorate Student in Idaho State University’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She will specialize in Family Practice and Functional Medicine, with a strong passion for supporting total body nutritional and musculoskeletal health for all ages, and women’s hormonal health and wellness. Her addition to Country Health Clinic enhances the clinic’s ability to provide holistic, patient-centered care, continuing the legacy of excellence established by Dr. Klassen nearly five decades ago.
Country Health Clinic remains dedicated to its mission of providing holistic healthcare that treats the whole body. Their integrative approach, combined with a compassionate and knowledgeable team, ensures that every patient receives the best possible care. With professionals like Stephanie on board, the clinic is well-equipped to continue offering top-notch healthcare services, making a positive impact on the lives of patients from near and far.
